Privacy

The short version

We collect what you type into a form or the chat. If — and only if — you press Accept, we also measure visits and which ads work, with Google Analytics and Google Ads. We do not sell anything to anyone, and we do not build a profile of you.

What we collect, and when

Only when you choose to send it. Nothing on this site collects anything while you are simply reading.

• Contact form: your name, email, and optionally a WhatsApp or phone number, the services you picked and your message.
• Industry checks: the answers you tap, plus your name and email — and only if you press the button that sends them. Until you do, the answers stay in your browser and never reach us.
• Carbon, the chat: what you type in the conversation, and your name and email if you give them so a person can reply.
• Your browser's user-agent string, saved alongside a message. It tells us which device something was sent from, which is how we find faults.

What we do with it

We reply to you, and we keep a record so a message is not lost. That is the whole purpose. We do not send marketing email to people who only asked a question.

Who else sees it

A handful of services we use to run the studio. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:

• Google Firebase — stores messages and checks, so nothing is lost.
• Resend — delivers the email of your message to us.
• Slack — tells us on a phone that you are waiting.
• AI services — Google (Gemini), Mistral, Cerebras, Groq and OpenRouter — power Carbon, the chat. What you type in the chat is sent to one of them to produce a reply. Some of them may use messages sent through their free services to improve their products, so please don't share sensitive personal details in the chat.

Cookies and tracking

Only if you press Accept on the cookie notice, Google Analytics and Google Ads load and set cookies, to count visits and tell us which ads bring enquiries. Press Reject, or don't answer, and neither of them loads at all. You can change your answer by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Your browser keeps a few small settings for this site — not cookies, and never sent to anyone: light or dark mode, whether to show prices and numbers for India or the US, your answer to the cookie question, where your visit came from (see below), and, if you sign in to the chat with Google, that sign-in.

If you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, the address you landed on can carry a code saying which ad or campaign it was. We keep that only for your visit, and it reaches us only if you send an enquiry — so we know which ads actually help people.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and checks are kept while they are useful for answering you and for our own records. Ask us to delete yours and we will, and we will confirm when it is done.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will act on it. You do not have to give a reason, and asking costs nothing.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
