Online stores & booking

Shops, table booking, appointments and payments that keep working while you are busy.

Why should I take bookings on my own site instead of a platform?

Because a platform takes a commission on every booking and keeps the customer's details. On your own site the booking costs you nothing after it is built, and the customer's name and email are yours — which means you can bring them back without paying again.

Can customers book outside my opening hours?

That is the main reason to have it. Most people decide to book in the evening, which is exactly when nobody is there to answer the phone. Online booking takes that appointment at eleven at night and puts it straight into your day.

How do I stop people booking and not turning up?

A small deposit at booking, and automatic reminders the day before and the morning of. Those two together are the most effective thing we know of for no-shows, and both are ordinary features rather than expensive extras.

Do I still have to use the delivery apps?

Most restaurants keep them for reach and push their regulars to ordering direct, where there is no commission. You do not have to choose one or the other — the point is that the regulars, who are most of your revenue, stop costing you a cut.

How do payments actually reach me?

Straight into your own payment account — we set it up in your name, and you keep the login. We never hold your money, and there is no Hypekind account in between.

What does online booking or a shop cost?

It depends on how much has to work: taking an appointment is a smaller job than a shop with stock, payments and delivery. The saving is worth putting against the cost — a booking on your own site has no commission on it, every time, for as long as the site exists.
