Artist visuals

Cover art, press shots and merch for musicians — one world across every platform.

What do I need for a release?

Cover art at the size each platform demands, a canvas or looping visual, a few press shots, and short video clips for the feeds. The mistake most artists make is having only the cover — and then having nothing to post for the three weeks that decide the release.

Does cover art really change how a song does?

It decides whether the song gets played at all. In a feed or a playlist, the artwork is the only thing a listener sees before choosing. It cannot make a bad song work, but a good song with weak artwork loses plays it had already earned.

Can you match the look of my last release?

Yes, and often we should. A recognisable look across releases is what turns listeners into followers. We can also deliberately break from it when the music has changed.

How far before release day should we start?

Three to four weeks. Pre-save pages, press shots and clips all need to exist before the announcement, not after — and the announcement is what gives the release a first day worth having.

What do artist visuals cost?

It depends on the release: cover art alone is one job, a full set with press shots, canvas and clips is another. Most artists find one proper shoot cut several ways costs less than commissioning each piece separately.
